I am also beginning to believe that McCain was not serious about being elected, as so many others are starting to believe. He could have run ads showing this type of thing but CHOSE not to. Why, if he was serious about getting elected, would he NOT use this info?? Was he part of a conspiracy to elect a basically unknown politician to the Presidency?? Could Obama be another Gordon Brown?? Brown was a real nobody until he somehow got chosen to be Prime Minister of England. There are some other examples around the world in recent years of relative unknown politicians being elected or chosen for the highest post in their respective lands.

That is a VERY good point, cb! McCain chose not to bring up too much at all and I have to believe it is only because he already knew who was going to be "selected" (not elected) for the Presidency. The same goes for Hillary! The Clintons have been known to be ruthless in the past and during the elections, she gave O the eye that I wouldn't want to be receiving.

He is the pied piper. Yesterday I came up on a 'Prius' - typical - with 2 pro obama stickers on it. My blood pressure skyrocketed as i forced myself not to act like a raging young kid with an overabundance of testosterone. Tried to tell myself again - to each thier own - but these knuckleheads who voted for him have helped conspire to destroy this great country, one I fought in battle for.

I saw a Obamma sticker on an old beaten-up saturn in a parking lot, later i saw the same car being driven by a,,,,wait for it,,,crack whore!

The video made me very sad to see our President bow before a foreign monarch. The King of Saudi Arabia is a King and by some in his country a dictator. I am not one for politics but I do know that alot has been sacrificed on the alter of freedom so that no American should have to bow before a foreign monarch.

I have no debt to any religion. This is obviously a mash of several speeches to highlight his comments on Islam. Now I don't like the guy, but not because he has a Muslim background, I don't like the things he is doing in office. I do not wish him any harm but I can't wait till we get a chance to get him out of the White House. I thought we were here to talk about prepping/gear/survival/SHTF/TEOTWAWKI scenarios, not to get upset over something said about religion?

Yes, this is a prep site. However, part of prepping is knowing your enemy. Part of prepping is knowing why you are prepping. Part of prepping is keeping up with what is going on in your own country and the rest of the world. How can you prep if you don't know what and when it is coming and why? There have been many attempts on Xcolony to separate prepping from the discussion of news, rumors, information, and current events. It can't be done. It is unrealistic. It is called intelligence gathering.
As for the video, it is disturbing to say the least. I wish it wasn't cut up into sound bites because I get suspicious of things brought out of context. At the same time I believe it is a true representation of what Obama stands for. If this country ever sees another real election I will be greatly surprised.

HileTroy, I know the feeling! I have to keep telling myself that, thankfully, we do live in a free nation where we are all allowed to have our own opinions, cast our own votes and say what we like to say (Within reason). I am one that did NOT vote for Obama and I may be called the infamous term, "Birther" because as simply as I can say it, "Show me the long Form!"
