I recall in the past there are other translation-type snafu's in the Bible, only because there was not a literal word in the new language to translate to...

The world is in dire need of a "hero", and BO is the closest thing I have seen to fit the bill... keep an eye on anything with the word "global" in it, and his role...

I hate to be the bearer of ill tidings, but religious commentary is frowned upon by our fearless admin.....any religious commentary or debate....sorry guys, it's just not worth the potential for heated debate or inter-forum strife......please keep these kinds of topix either within the PM system, or direct them to another medium.

              Thanks.

Agree pathfinder, religion and politics are woven into the fabric of our daily lives, as is preparedness. We prepare for many reasons, political meltdown, economic collapse, prophecies being fulfilled... It is likely that any of us might have to scramble our preps into action solely based on religious radicalism...

It would be nice if things were so black and white that you could just dismiss what you didn't like in real life, but it just doesn't work that way. I guess it makes sense to keep it "simple" here, but I appreciated the post, anyway.

Thanks for understanding....I'm not against anyone sharing their beliefs (hello, I'm a fundamentalist Christian), but just to avoid squashed toes, we try to avoid anything so.....close to the individual heart.....

Thank you, and thank you....I think the misc and off topic would be suitable for rhese kinds of threads....so long as we don't let the, devolve into controversial theological debate... :D
