While it would be possible to declare ML in a disaster zone where civilians are already harmed by the disaster, trying to declare it because of civil unrest would turn the entire USA into a big war zone... Good luck with that.
Unlike other countries, the USA is the only country on the planet with a "gun culture".. We love our guns and for good reason.. My M4's might not mean much, but combined with several hundreds more in my area, as well as shotguns, hand guns, hunting rifles, etc..
Think about that for a moment.. If you were a US Marine grunt, would you want to try to put Americans under ML and have your head blown off?
Never going to happen...
Youtube is a propagandists wet dream come true... The threat of government control is WHY we have the 2nd amendment.. and it works very well.
Think about how it works for a moment.. Who declares ML and then who do they pass that order to? Does anyone think every State Governor is going to play along?

Grizzly that is a great site and very informative. These things are things that we all should be aware of and know the history of such things. Rather it happens or not no one knows for sure. I do know they will want to strip us of our right to own guns first which I can't see happening at this time so far. But with the way things are going anything is possible.Comment

I think I've given it quite a bit of thought.. American civilians are far too well armed for the government to enact ML without a major revolt..
