  • HR 2749: Totalitarian Control of the Food Supply

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or over in Food - it has horrid implications. The site has good links on the bills various incarnations and provides comment on the ramifications of the various definitions and meat of the bill.

    http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/200...e-food-supply/

    Example:
    * HR 2749 would impose an annual registration fee of $500 on any “facility” that holds, processes, or manufactures food. [isn't this every home in the US, every garden?] Although “farms” are exempt, the agency has defined “farm” narrowly. [What is the definition?] And people making foods such as lacto-fermented vegetables, cheeses, or breads would be required to register and pay the fee, which could drive beginning and small producers out of business during difficult economic times. [Yes. There are laws against this corporate-size-destroys-the-little-guy policy, aren't there? Are home bread or cheese or lacto-fermented vegetable makers who make for their own families included in this?]

Whenever I think, "I'm getting sooooo tired of this...", it wakes me up - that is what they want! They want to exhaust us with one bloody attack after another on our freedoms.

We are being assaulted on all front, you are so right! This bill is designed to help you eat the wholesome foods from Monsanto (drink the koolaid).
At one time, I thought conspiracy theorists were nuts...not any more!

        Agree.

Am frying up another 10 lbs of hamburger to can. Bought 30 lbs yesterday, will do them all this week.

Have my 4th batch of strawberries in the bag. They are on sale for $1 a lb through the 1 July. Can fit 8 lbs in the dehydrator at a time, so have been doing 8 lbs a day.

Got to keep at it. Bought a turkey yesterday to can as well, was .84 per pound.

          As does this: http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/200...an-schumacher/

It is important that we remember these events.... and the legislators that paved the way for these institutions.

Exactly, its a full on assault. On my way in 2 days to take my kids to Mt. Rushmore. Want them to view it before Obama's Head is squeezed in there. To some he is already the greatest president this country has ever had. Arggggg.
