I was wondering when Blackwater was going to change their name after all the negative media coverage. Good looking out!

The XE complx looks pretty impressive from above. Wiki gave the coordinates that I plugged into Google Satelite. It's hard to tell much from this photo, but if you drill in real close you can get some good details.
The red arrow points to a small airport
The Blue arrow is a fairly large driving course with what looks like a fleet of same model vehicles parked near the offices.
The green arrow points to what looks to be a mockup town with buildings arranged around a "round about", probably for practicing urban tactics. (see second pic)
The yellow arrows point to what looks to me to be various gun ranges.
This is of little use, but I thought it might be cool to share. It's a much larger operation than I thought.
Here are the coordinates if anyone cares: 36.45,-76.2

Well since they are going to be local and unemployed like the rest of us they will be able to apply for unemployment benifits and enjoy the new "change" that is sweeping the nation...

I have to agree with the comment by Lightfoot. Sure, be concerned, keep an open eye but keep a low profile, don't cause trouble, don't provoke anything and the chances are, you wouldn't be a threat. Sure sounds good! Hope it's true!:)

These guys are just stiffs like the rest of you......umm......us.....they eat, sh*t, and bleed...if they do "Garden Plot" us, then their only real advantage will be federal support...which won't amount to much in a guerrilla war...
Something Blackwater was never too public about is: Their training is highly focused toward urban combat and support (actually, like MOST private sec. firms) ...they have a pretty weak game, when you look at the big picture and head out of city limits...

Ive worked alongside those guys. Most of them are good guys, just trying to make a buck. Some of them are real wildcards though. If theyre deployed inside the US, your best bet is to maintain secrecy about your preps, and mind your own business. They'll have no reason to bother you.

On one of our local radio stations they have a commercial about the secret service wanting applicants for the Charlotte area. I've never heard a recruiting ad on radio like this.

If you go to their "contract positions" page, all of the "apply to" email addies are at Blackwater.
Interesting.
