Nothing makes my blood boil anymore than someone telling me how to raise my son! This so called government is totally out of control.

This to bothers me tremendously, especially since the new education czar is homosexual! Wonder what type of things will be added into the curriculum?!

There are past posts about this. It's incredible what they are doing to our youth. Read and search because if you have children it will affect all you do with them and what they will be doing when you aren't around. Believe me this is going to be a nightmare!!!!!
Your opponet got stronger today, did you?

Government interference in how we raise our children is already unbelievable. My kids are grown now, but if I had any, they sure wouldn't be going to public school. This is an assault on parental rights.

Aside from the fact that in many places only 50% or less (40% in Dallas) kids actually graduate?

This would make my blood boil as well, but if you consider the date of the information, and couple that to current events, it's my belief that America is waking up to what "hope and change" really means. I have kids in public education. I watch what they are taught. That said, I'm still planning for the worst. Still looking for land, putting up food, supplies, etc. but I believe the American public is catching on to what Obama really stands for. Yes, he's our president, but he's moving to the center (a sheer survival instinct on his part). No, I don't think he's sincere in his shift. He's merely attempting to increase his chances for re-election. God forbid, if he is re-elected... I have no words for what WILL be aside from "NOT GOOD."

In a way, Obama has (or will have) very positive impacts on our nation (provided he's not re-elected). His radical views of what America "should" be have ignighted a fire in middle America (even the general public). With the recent shift in power in the congress, and the public's recent awakening, I believe we have a greater chance of turning the tide of a liberal/socialist/communist takeover. He (Obama) has given us a view of what "could" be, and in doing so, shook us aware to how dangerous (how close) the situation has become.

I believe the liberals/socialists will fail in their attempts to destroy our country. My main fear wrests with congress having the balls to make the financial cuts necessary to assure we don't implode. Factor in recent weather patterns, crop failures, world-wide economic crisis, terrorist scenarios (and their ongoing intentions)... folks, the perfect storm could smack us at any time. That alone is enough to make the sensible prepare for very tough times.

Regardless, keep prepping. And to the merely curious (browsing)... stop deceiving yourselves. The world is not what it was 15 years ago.

                  Just one guy's thoughts.

I recently had a discussion with my friend's 14 year old son. About all he knew of United States history was that evil white men enslaved the Africans and murdered most of the Indians. While this is true, there is a lot more to it. We need our kids to be proud of their heritage. Not loaded down with guilt.
Those who would trade freedom for security will end up with neither.
