Homeland Security strikes again with its Domestic Extremism Lexicon. It mentions white extremists and christian extremists, I don't see Islamists anywhere.

The first 2 listed are:

(U) aboveground (U//FOUO) A term used to describe extremist groups or individuals who operate overtly and portray themselves as law-abiding.

(U) alternative media (U//FOUO) A term used to describe various information sources that provide a forum for interpretations of events and issues that differ radically from those presented in mass media products and outlets.

That first one sounds like a catch-all for anyone they don't like. The second one could apply to ... :rolleyes: us.

I read something about this today. The article I read talks about this being written 2 weeks before the one we have grown to know and love.......NOT.
