    This was at 1400 hours or 2 PM. The 2 in red have a greater than 60% chance of becoming hurricanes.
    Beats me when hurricanes became cyclones.

      Yesterday the world had 329 earthquakes over 2.2 in size. If you look, they chart along the edges of the Pacific plate.

        Earth scientists call it the Circum-Pacific Belt; personally, I prefer its more common use name, The Ring of Fire.

          2 days ago there were 329 records of earth quakes over 2.2 on the riector scale. Most were along the pacific plate. Another reason not to live on the West coast.

            I have plenty of reasons in a safe to not to live in CA.

            Iceland is one the nations with the most volcano eruptions. They use geothermal energy to heat their homes, generate electricity and more.. Iceland's volcanos produce over 50% of the planet's lava.
