  • Money well spent....

It appears that in this time of ever-growing monopoly money mayhem, the .gov still found their way to be charitable with your tax dollar....

Just saw a commercial advertising those nifty $40 debit cards for your new digital TV converter box.....

Rumor has it, they're good for whatever...just like the Katrina cards...that's right...forget the tube and go get yourself some Gin 'n' Juice on the Fed dime, while they last....

The commercial was two corny old gals chattering on about their latest entitlement and how great it is that the .gov can send them out so easily...just call or logon and consume away!!!!

    *barf*

Lets fund the stupid. Lets pay millions of dollars on something that is not necessary for the future of this country, or this world. Let's allow big businesses, and the FCC, to cause billions of honest, hard working tax payers to fund the programs for the millions of people who take advantage of it, with no remorse.

TV is not a necessity, and therefore should not be regarded as something the .gov should invest in.

My .03 cents...gave an extra one for good measure.

I think they want to keep us doped up on tv and stimulus checks. Then we'll wake up one day and say "Where'd America go? "

When scrap metal went sky high, what do you think they were doing with it? Probably melting it down and casting tank turrets, or AK recievers. The scrap guys said it was all going to China.

WRONG!!! It is a necessity as that is how they get the 'opium' to the masses...

Think of the movie "They Live!" as long as the signal was broadcast, the consumers kept consuming! Great movie concept as well
                          73

                          later,
                          ZA

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to
beat you to death with it because it is empty.

The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

I can understand your view of it being a necessity, to the .gov, but the average person does not need television...anyway, doesn't matter, the .gov is going to do what they want, they have been for the past 200 years or so.
