BTW...this actually has precedent.....Even though I'm sure the sicko did it, Scott Peterson was convicted and sentenced to LIFE w/out A SHRED OF PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, and only a very flimsy, at best, circumstantial case...sounds like a submarine to me...."I Have Sworn Upon the Altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." -Thomas Jefferson

I'm with Diesel, Rusty, Big Saw, SD Allen, and all freedom-lovers. This law stinks like yesterday's diapers. Who the Hell died and made the DEA the kings of the Seven-friggin'-Seas??? What the Hell business is it of government either what consenting adults put in their bodies or what consenting adults ride about on in international waters??? Don't they have Islamofascist Pirates and illegal alien-transporting "Coyotes" to chase???

Ulath and Cudalyon, Rest assured, I personally have no use for street drugs, but the "War On Drugs" and all of it's many consequences have destroyed more lives than drugs could ever do by themselves.
Cudalyon, you can get your wish regarding illegals if the modern Prohibition of drugs and other "victimless crimes" were ended. Doing this would free law enforcement to pursue illegal alien invaders and "Coyotes" who transport them, as well as other real criminals with real victims, such as murderers, rapists, robbers, and thieves.
Might I add, ending Drug Prohibition would take the bulk of the profit out of drug dealing, which would mean that illegal alien invaders and gangs like MS-13 and The Zetas would find it much less worth it to cross our borders to ply their drug dealing."Apocalypse is by no means inevitable." --Jim Rice.

Here is my feeling on dope. I have never, even in my youth even tried anything, including cannabis sativa L. Why? Because it is illegal? No. If it were legalized, I ask you, would you start doing it? If so, you are telling me that the government prohibition on dope is a moral prohibition. And you trust the government to set your morality.
That means you have no individual thought, but rely on the government to tell you what is right and what is wrong. The government does not need to be in the drug war business. Let people decide what is best for them, and let people chose their own morality. Legal dope would make no difference in my life what-so-ever, other then I would be more free.

Maybe people would stop killing each other over it then...You don't see many gang wars over who's selling booze where, do you?
And like TUO said, maybe the cops could get some real work done, the prisons would empty a little, and the sale of cheese puffs would soar....
