Red, You and ScoutRunner have more in common than Lincoln and Kennedy. Take it easy on the eerie coin-key-dinks between you and ScoutRunner, or you'll bring the tin-foil hats out of the wood work.

Wow....Coincidence? Life is funny that way. I agree with the 1911 love. Got 2 Kimbers in that caliber myself. It just feels right. My 9mm is great but still doesn't feel as good as a .45
You are missing out on both the wife and the grandkids. I'd have been killed or gone to jail long ago if not for settling down with a great woman. The children came and made a wonderfully great difference in my life..and THEN the GRANDKIDS!! I love spoiling them. My 11 yr old granddaughter loves riding on my Goldwing trike. I used to haul her around on my Harley before and after I triked it. Now she rides with me on the Honda trike. Can't wait for my two yr old grandson to get old enough to corrupt him...
Bought a Ruger Mark III .22 last month and had problems with feeding. The damn thing would shear off the head of the bullet. I sent her back and found out I am way behind on stuff. Seems the new auto's demand high velocity to feed correctly. I put some mini-mags in her and she works fine. Shouldn't have sold my old trusty Colt Woodsman a few years back.

Any questions?
Hey Scout,
I'm pretty new here too but welcome. I just went to read your profile and damnit something is going on... My birthday is that of the US Marines... as is yours! ok but it gets deeper... you were born in 45 and are 63... I was born in 63 and am 45... also my favorite pistol (1911... I was a Tanker in the Cav and never did shoot an M16 in the Army) You're retired communications guy and I am in the communications field (tech writer for high end networking gear). I also like guns and motorcycles... I don't have kids (that I know of) and so I don't have grandkids... and no wife... (never hated anyone enough to make them live with me for the rest of their life). While I still have both legs I have one that supplies me with Government cheese every month (disability pay). Anyway, I just noticed the similarities and figured I'd pop in and say hey!
