I just love the outdoors and may one day need to survive the elements if I ever get lost, and teach the kids how to survive.

Here's to the great outdoors, kids, and gettin' lost......;)"I Have Sworn Upon the Altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." -Thomas Jefferson
"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." -Frederic Bastiat

1. Their church encourages them to store food and prepare for bad times. They have it down to an art.
2. If you ever go drinking, take one with you for a designated driver. They do not drink.
Get tight with the Mormons. You will find they are a decent lot, and after you politely decline their prosthelitizing, they will become good tight friends that will almost consider you one of them.

I lived here All my life and they are good people here.
One of my biggest concerns are that there's alot of people Know that Mormons preach food storage, so intern it may become a war zone over food
I just thought about what you said about food storage and what kind of info. we may get from them on the internet. In my lumpy chair

Sometimes it is easier to sit down with someone that had done something before, and learn from them. At least it helps me learn some things.
