Hello, I've been watching this site for a few days and decided to join. I live in Davidson Co. and I too do not like the direction our Nation seems to be heading. It's good to know there are still some folks out there with enough skill to survive. I'm a former Marine '85-'89, employed by a utility co.,have a little piece of land, and a family. I look forward to conversing with you all.

Strange thought: The Carolinas were in the original 13 colonies of the United States; if something were to occur in this country which caused a complete breakdown of states as we know them, it's curious to know if the original 13 states would remain intact.

                      Anyway, welcome to XC.
