Howdy all you lurkers that look over the Xcolony website! We hope you enjoy what you see and hope anything you have learned has been helpful. I want to ask you members that have never posted and those lurkers who have never registered, we want to hear what you got to say!

Forums, especially this one, are set up for individuals to share their knowledge that benefit each other. YOU, whether or not you think you have anything to share or not may have a point of view, or a different way of doing something that is a better method. However if you maintain that 'vow of silence' we will never get to know you or your ideas!

No one here is an expert on everything, so don't feel like you have nothing to say because you might have an idea that really helps others. Isn't helping others prepare what this S&P stuff is all about?

The more people you help, the more people are empowered to take care of themselves and their loved ones. Those folks will not be part of problem WTSHTF, they will be part of the solution!!!

However, if you don't post, we will never get to hear your ideas or even get to know you :(

So go to the Introduction Forum and tell us your general location (if you want) and anything else you want to share so we can have the pleasure of meeting you.

Also when a topic comes up that you know something about, let us know what is on your mind. We want to hear your point of view :)

I think this forum has overall a friendly atmosphere and all that post on it are good knowledgeable folks :)

I first would like to say hello to every one. I have not really been lurking though it may have looked that way. I could sign in and the site showed me as being signed in but I not able to do anything but read, and read posts I did. I just want to say thank you all for the great info on this site. 2 weeks ago we had a huge ice storm ( some of you might have seen it on the news ) We were with out power for 6 days but do to my grandfathers training my family weathered the storm with out a hitch even with out a generator ( for us no power mean no heat or water ). I was able to use my lap top charged from my truck inverter to read threads on this site every night and it helped me feel conected so again thank you all.

Those ice storms wreck havoc in my parts too when they hit :( So I share your pain brother!

Good job on the foresight to have a way to power your computer. All it took was an inverter and a 12 V DC power source be once again connected! Now that is thinking outside the box!
