Greetings! I have been searching for a place like this for a while to discuss such topics, as i find that it is hard to locate others who seem to have any interest in self sufficiency and preparedness, after scouting out the site for a little bit this seems to be a great place to do just that. A little bit about myself, I am currently attending college pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering with the goal of working designing firearms, or if not that, work designing other worthwhile products. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and such related activities, an avid fisher for many years and hopefull hunter, (havent been very successful so far). Anyway, im glad to become a part of this forum and look forward to learing and sharing helpful information.

Welcome to the forum from Wisconsin.
Don't worry about that success with hunting it will come with time. At least your out there trying it which is more then you can say for most people. Just remember, an unsuccessful hunt is still a learning experience and any day in the woods is a good day. Some of my best hunts were unsuccessful ones.
One piece of advice...ALWAYS take a camera because there are almost always things to shoot with it.
