Hello everyone.

I'm from Western Maryland. I've only been prepping for about 4 months now. After the mess in Japan I felt the need to speed up the process even more. My wife is semi onboard with me.

I found this site by accident. After reading several threads I didn't find the usual arrogance and attitude that I have seen on other sites(Thank God).

Anyway, glad to be here. I hope to learn a lot.

We had an arrogant guy once and Diesel obliterated him. We all had to start prepping somewhere/sometime, we'll try to help you get caught up. Maybe point your wife at some of these threads, she may get more onboard. She can even learn to macrame... er, do tactical weaving! :D

When Diesel was transitioning from XColony to SM and the site was down for a couple of weeks, I found a couple of other sites and found I was skipping most of the posts because of that arrogance. When we got this one up, I haven't been back to those "other" places.

This is home, where we can kick our shoes off and ask "stupid" questions without getting denigrated!

Hello and welcome. I agree, this site is the only site I have ever posted and felt comfortable with! Theres some great knowledge in these old threads!! Good folks here and havent come across but maybe one or two tin foil wearers! lol... j/k :)
