Hello,
I'm happy to find yet another and somewhat more dignified place that I can be educated and hopefully share some of the things that I have learned as well.
I have been an outdoorsman from the time I was a child growing up in rural Texas and visiting family in the Missouri Ozarks. At a very young age I began learning about nature, fishing, hunting, living off the land, and first aid, and I guess you could say survival, though it was all fun and games to me at that point.
There is so much I want to learn and so much I need to learn yet. Knowledge that I may pass on to my children and grandchildren. I hope at some point I too may be of service to those that seek that same knowledge on this forum in years to come.
I have been in the Railroad industry for over 30 years now and am currently a safety instructor.
I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all a bit.
