I was invited to the forum a few days ago and wanted to stop in and get a feel for the community. I like to share my knowledge/experiences and I'm more then willing to learn from others as well.
I'm on another forum which I have some issues with. There are some great people there, but a small % like to ruin it for others. I like a place where people can agree, disagree, show appreciation and do it in a polite way.
I learned at a young age that life is too short and you have to grasp everyday you can because tomorrow is never a guarantee.
I LOVE the outdoors and all she has to offer. I like trapping, hunting, fishing, hiking, collecting Chaga (true tinder fungus), shed hunting, photography (far from a professional), making ghilliesuits, bushcrafting, winter camping and have recently started taking an interest in tracking. I have always used this skill for tracking game, but want to take it to the next level just to challenge myself.
I love practicing wilderness survival skills and would be what I consider a moderate prepper.
