  • Hey from New York

Currently stuck in the suburbs, and every day I feel the need to get OUT and get away, and be self-sufficient.

I've spent the last few weeks researching all over the web anything that has to do with Survivalism, homesteading, etc, getting ready for What? I don't know, but something! I've even started turning my hand to some new skills.... this weekend's project will either be canning food or dehydrating food for long-term storage, because that's what I think is going to be necessary to survive in the near future.

I am totally alone in my thinking of all my family and friends, and am grateful for all the knowledgeable (and "crazy" like me :p) people to share with and learn from.

Darn if that was not one of the worst endings to a movie I had ever seen!!! Neat concept until the end!

HMMMM,,,, gears creak as I ponder the two movies.

                    Kenno,

Take it from this Prometheus, you'll find much better quality viewing on YouTube, Google, Metacafe, and many other Web 2.0 video services. I only wish you could get these services. They are sources of both great instruction, as well as great entertainment. The first chance you get hold of a better computer or better bandwidth or satellite access, you're in for a great treat.
