    Hello! My name is Ken and i love the wilderness. i just wrote on the "what made you become a survivalist thread" why i have become so fond of it. I look forward to picking up any knowledge i have yet to gain and to pass some along as I do. Feel free to friend me or write to me, I live in Maine and know how to survive in the Maine Wilderness during all seasons. If you have questions or want to hear story's feel free. :cool:

        Yea winter in Maine ain't no joke. I spent about 9 months one time and have never been that cold in my life. Glad to see you here.

            hello, and your right about the winters. they pack a mean punch. but they make the narrow roads and overhanging trees look wonderful. i prefer the summer months they are short and few but make the state worth staying in for me.

              Ken is my brother. I am glad you are on here now! I have been a bit inactive on this site for the winter months, but I plan to do some catching up! Ken, I posted a few questions on this site months ago and the responses were awesome. It helped me make a lot of decisions on purchases. This site is very valuable! A wealth of excellent information!
