Unsure newbie and etc

My name is Jessica A. Still live with my parents, Metro New York, on the New Jersey Side of it USA. Have an fraternal twin sister as well. Born with a Neurologically based speech impairment/apraxia-dysarthria. Suffering from depression/anxiety for awhile now. Yet to reach this stage of life and etc. I'm an student of life and clerical volunteer.

This is both of an question and rant from me.

Know that I'm not the only one whom has experience this before. Mean it can be off/online.

Mean before foundin and/or comin here?

Is it me that we are treated as we are still babies/kids??? Is it me that there are owner/s, admin/s, mod/s whom have no clue on how to run forum???

Its hard even though they all know and we have talked about it. Mostly there are other factors which I can't think of at moment. Somehow I never could avoid this when lookin for new forums for myself. Hope being here is goin to stop this.

Are you saying people give you grief because you're a little different? Some people feel inadequate .... so to make themselves feel better they often will point out the shortcomings of others.... it doesn't really help though.

Mods can be a peculiar sort .... I think its required on most forums .... we have real good mods here .... they don't get out of line cause we won't let them .... but there really no trouble.

Welcome Jessica! I'm new here too and so far I can say its a good informative site and people here seem very down to earth, helpful and humble. Everyone has their particular 'expertise' and no-one seems to let their ego get in the way of the main goal of preparing for situations that we hope we don't have to see. But the famous saying "Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it"! Although knowledge is definately the key!

Oh, to relive the days when Rancher roamed these threads.... Good times, good times. It was then that I realized that I should give up prepping. Any and all hope of surviving, even the smallest crisis, was ripped away as I realized I would never be a member of the Morningstar ranch.

About rancher... I saw some of his other posts and read the link slowz provided. It seems as if he is maybe a little too hard core, but other than that sane. I think??? you guys have been pretty lenient with me and my inexperience, it would seem as if his experience would be welcome? Did he really offend that badly? Give me the scoop, I am the curious cat!! :P

I think the rancher dude you are talking about was on another forum a few years ago. If I remember correctly, he was banned there too. He was quite a nasty character.
