Lol....I hear ya rsanders, everytime I get the new 'cheaper than dirt' catalog and the 'chevy high performance' magazine I start arguing with myself. Fortunately I recently had to reorganize my supplies so now I'm on the prepping and inventory kick again. Every other month I seem to switch gears...its a vicious cycle...lol

Welcome from Kentucky. Take it from someone who knows first hand quit the race cars now while you still can,I was into drag racing Waaaay back in the 70's when muscle cars were real muscle cars and high performance parts were cheap (especially when you work at the only Speed Shop in town) If I had the money I threw at going fast ,I could have more than the three boats that I now have,( which by the way is just another money pit) but if I had all the money that I have thrown at Cars,Boats Beer, and Women I could be hunkered down and prepped for just about anything that could present itself . By the way them Airplanes will lead you down the same path as cars and boats.:D

Greetings from Northwest Montana...
Hows it going all, I guess I should finally introduce myself. This is a great site with helpful individuals. Good to see posts that offer different perspectives and ideas on preparing. Looking forward to bouncing ideas of everyone. I try my best to keep expanding with knowledge and good tradecrafts. Unfortunately it seems the more a guy learns the more he realizes what he doesn't know...lol, if that makes any sense.
As far as my background, I'm a former U.S. Marine. Joined back in '95, MOS was 1833, (Amphibious Assault). Also an EMT-B. Would like to go through that course every few years or so. Great course but not using it every day a guy tends to forget some things over time. Working on getting my pilots license. I bought a old cessna 152 aerobat and so far I can only fly by myself around my local airport. I teach the neighborhood kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from the Gracie method. Thats a blast until the wife catchs me in a armbar...lol. I work for a railroad up here in good ole' Montana as a Electrician, relay logic and Solar Technician.
Other than prepping I'm completely addicted to drag racing. I'd have alot more mountain house if I'd quit with that money pit!..lol but I cant help it. Thats waaaay too much fun. lol Well I'm done tooting my own horn, hope to talk to you all soon to get better ideas and other things I havent thought of for prepping. Take Care and stay the sheepdog!Tags: None
