I am an old civil engineer.
I waterfowl hunt and work.I shoot to become more proficient.I understand there are no free lunches!
I am concerned about our country, and it's direction. There are consequences to actions taken .
I am here for information for existing and surviving, if bad things happen.
I have lived without electricity, running water, refrigeration, and indoor plumbing when I was young.
It is not easy ,but it can be done. I really like AC!
    Have a nice day!

The information on the site is simply staggering,in volume and content.Great idea.
Do you recall if there has been a posting about EMP (electro magnetic pulse) ,and options for protecting personal electronics like computers, auto's,tv's,etc.?
A solar flare or a high nuke detonation could do the dirty deed.
            Thanks

What a deal.I must be careful what I ask for.
I remember small copper mesh enclosures in College physics.
Copper is way too expensive for most of us,but I will check out using 1/4 "or 1/2' galvanized mesh, which will
be readily available and much less expensive, and which can conduct electrons and is relatively easy to shape.
Also sounds like the local EMA is a good source..
