Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! I am into anything that creates and promotes self reliance. Hunting, gardening, and this year I am building a chicken coop as well in my move towards becoming self contained and not a slave to outside forces I have no control over but seem to have entirely too much control over us. Support your local farmers guys, and dont buy from corporations that couldn't care less about your well being.

Sweet! Yeah, its definitely time for us to take back control of the important things, such as our food supplies and our security. My whole family is on board and we have been growing a bigger garden every year. This year my wife said she is going to learn how to can and make preserves and all that. That way if our freezers fail we dont lose too much and can still support ourselves. If or when the shtf we dont want to be starving LOL! i think that proper stockpiles of food and water are not as high on priority lists as they should be. The last thing I want to do in a disaster is have to go try and acquire food from a store as thats where the moron mobs will be shooting it out over loaves of bread and cans LOL!
