Hi All,
My name is John and I am a Libertarian in MA. (yes, we do exist here, but we are a small minority). I am an engineering technician by profession and an outdoors-man by passion.
My biggest hobbies are Firearms, Ham Radio and Hiking. I have recently been reading about prepping and surviving and listening to podcast on the subjects as well.
I stumbled onto this forum and immediately decided it was a good place to connect. I hope to make some friends and learn a thing or two as well.
I also hope to contribute were I can. I am sure that there are plenty of firearms "experts" so I will not list myself as one here although I may know something about them. But if anyone has questions about ham radio or RF communications in general, I am sure I can help so just ask. As for the other ham radio ops out there, look me up on QRZ.com, my callsign is NX1Z.
In the mean time I will be reading a lot; trying to catch-up on what has already been covered in the forums.
