Welcome indeed!
Looking forward to learning alot from you, especially in the Ham area. Not ticketed yet, but soon to start working on it! IMHO comms are a vital part of prepping. Local, regional, national and world-wide.
Thanks for joining us.

Another S&Per from North Carolina
Howdy Folks,
Saw an add for this website on Craig's List in the Hickory, NC area and thought I'd check it out.
Looks like a good group of folks you got here!
Myself?
I am located in Western Lincoln County North Carolina. I have been into S&P (Survival & Preparedness) for a long time, but until pre Y2K, I never really understood it from a logistics point of view. S&P is mostly about skills, but you got to have logistics as well.
I have many interests. I am a Ham Radio operator that sees this hobby from the S&P point of view. I also practice and hone my primitive survival techniques and incorporate them on my hiking or camping trips. I am also learning and perfecting my cooking techniques for using my storage foods. Eat what you store, store what you eat. I am also working on homesteading and self sufficient skills to learn how to provide my own foods. I also like firearms as well, but who doesn't??? Many other interests and skills but you get the picture. Oh yeah, the spouse is onboard as well, so it makes getting things ready easy!
I work in the telecommunications field ,worked as an electrician, and spent a few years in the Army before that. Nuff said:D
I am looking forward to talking with ya'll and hope I can learn from you, and maybe you can learn something from
me. Sounds like a win win situation;)Tags: None
