Lol, yeah I think you are going to find we are a solitary bunch. Everyone is thinking....maybe I should maintain my security? When you tell people so freely about your weapons, ammo, tools, preparations and plans you start to slowly think people actually care. Unfortunately we are much better off knowing a few people in our area who know we are not sheep.
Just my opinion of why the half dozen North Texas members are not responding. It could be a whole other reason.Comment

For me, putting names with faces has value. If nothing else, it adds to the sense of community a forum can have. We certainly don't have to compare stock-piles or share anything we aren't comfortable sharing.
If folks brought a friend or two, we might even get a few sheeple thinking. Kicking back for a 'beverage of choice' and casual conversation might show them that we're not all tin foil hat weirdos. Well, a 5 hour drive is a bit much! Doesn't sound like there are enough of us oddballs here to justify a get together, just yet. But, I'll be around if that changes.
