Hi all, I'm Rick, I've always been into hiking, camping, 4wdriving, spent plenty of time in remote locations, ex-army, scouts, scuba diving, woodworking, you name it... So it was kind of inevitable that I'd eventually want to get into bushcraft some day. I'd love to try my hand at trapping, gathering, hunting (got licences etc), and shelter building.

Australia is a beautiful place..

Lots of open country to enjoy. I live in the Chattahoochee National Forest on private owned land. The nearest neighbor is a couple of miles away. Our real neighbors are black bear, bobcats, cougars and the usual raccoons, rabbits. and more.
My trail cams captured a 70 to 80 pound cougar.. I'd post it except something is wrong with my account.
