I believe in protecting my and my family's freedoms also. Especially the freedom of choice to take or not to take their poison. Hey if you want it more power to you. I find it hilarious that sudden;y the chant of my body, my choice means nothing to the left in this country. And I'll be damned if they'll put it in my kids. My 18yo caved in to get it as otherwise they pressure them with 'well you won't be able to come to class, be on campus, etc..." and then because of the boogie man Delta variant they still mandated the kids must wear them anything inside a building and even in their dorm rooms if with anyone besides their roommate.
Here's why people resist being vaccinated:
I'm Agent Orange positive and my civilian doctor wanted me to see a urologist. I decided to go to the VA. Trump really changed the VA. The ony mention of COVID was the VA's security meets people at the door, hands them a mask and that's it. No one asks to see a vaccination card, nor do they even mention it. All they ask is have you been sick recently.
They don't ask for your insurance card anymore as everything is free.
When one of my hearing aids died; they sent it to Denver Logistics to be repaired and they reloaded its software. Guess what, it works perfectly, unlike what Denver sent back to me before. They also vacuumed any ear wax out.
Where I have an advantage is when I first got involved to get hearing aids; I was registered in South Carolina. Now, that I live in Georgia, I'm over 200 miles from William Jennings Bryan-Dorn VA hospital in Columbia, SC. As a result, I qualify for local civilian medical care. In case of an emergency, I have a 1-800 number to call.

Hi Country Guy.
I check in here less and less. It's just not the same as before. Where the demarcation is between now and "before" I can't really peg. In some ways, I feel burned out from questions that were covered in-depth years ago.
On the other hand, I am so busy gardening and getting the aquaponics back up and running that I don't have time to sit on the computer. I just got my fish last Monday after being down for four years. Then I completely rebuilt all of the grow beds. I doubled the capacity and I will be adding new solar PV panels so the system runs off-grid.
I also doubled the size of the in-ground garden. The new area is not fenced but it is just for pumpkins and potatoes.

Back then, we canned the summer harvest of vegetables and built cold frames to grow winter vegetables. It wasn't prepping for survival; it was how we lived. We also canned deer meat etc.
Today in the lower 48, people can buy fresh vegetables in the middle of winter. As a lot of farmers will not plow because of the costs of fuel and fertilizer there will be shortages. Ukraine and Russia are the largest producers of grains and legumes. When food prices go way up or the shelves will be empty; it will be a wakeup call.
Look at the baby formula shortage, that is fine example of wakeup call.
I've seen pictures posted online of two smaller bedrooms filled almost floor to ceiling with survival food. I doubt they can take from the back without a lot of work. As you said a "feel good." I also wonder if their floor joists can handle the load. LOL.
My mother lived during the Great Depression. Once she said I felt sorry for the city people because we had dirt and all they had was concrete. Her family had chickens and they'd barter with their neighbors for what they had. I still have my grandmother's notebook where she kept track of how many chickens or eggs they owed for meat.

The "WHOLE" prepping movement is now deeply flawed and corrupted. It is now a "Feel Good" pacifier, masturbation. Internet/social media and Madison Avenue Advertising/Marketing have corrupted Prepping and Prepping for Survival.
Quality prepping knowledge pretty much ended in the mid 70's when it shifted to a discovered marketing void for retail sales. In the 50's & 60's and some of the 70's prepping was a physical action that you practiced and lived.

When ever I click who's online, there is a lot of guests. Currently, there are 21 guests.
Perhaps, if you start prepper threads some of those 21 guests just might register and contribute? It is the only possible way this site will grow to what it used to be.
Some examples would be the never ending what would did you do to prep today? As I believe you've mentioned having caches; a thread about how to protect your caches? Registrar had a thread about digging an underground hide; however, he never mentioned how he disposed of all that dirt. Yeah, I know who and what he is, LOL
I figure this site is worth an honest try; how about you?

If anyone doubts your "As you suggest I'd question the numbers you site. The "number of dead" is such a mislabel it's laughable."
Send them this video
As usual, follow the money to understand the truth behind the pandemic:
The Epoch Times received no responses from multiple requests to Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) for comment on a report by a non-profit government watchdog estimating that Fauci, former NIH director
Francis Collins, and hundreds of NIH scientists got as much as $350 million in undisclosed royalty payments from pharmaceutical and other private firms between 2010 and 2020.Top Democratic leaders with oversight of the National Institutes for Health (NIH) are keeping quiet about the $350 ...
At OpenTheBooks.com, we work hard to capture and post all disclosed spending at every level of government – federal, state, and local. We've successfully captured nearly 5 billion public expenditures, and we are rapidly growing our data in all 50 states down to the municipal level. We won't stop until we capture every dime taxed and spent by our government.
This is interesting:

As you suggest I'd question the numbers you site. The "number of dead" is such a mislabel it's laughable. Die in a motorcycle wreck but tested with covid... covid death... stage 4 cancer and die with covid... covid death... how many died of the flu last year?? they didn't... but year before was something like 65 or 75K and look at the previous years when was up more like 85K.
775,000 were classed as CV19 deaths as that's what paid the most. Number of recovered 35 mil i say under reported big time. What of those never tested that had it? How many millions like myself had it but never got tested so we weren't included in the infected or the recovered numbers I'd wager that recovered number is likely 3 to 5 times higher and that number of dead is a fraction of what they.
Notice how they don't give out data anymore. You will be hard pressed to find the details anywhere, no breakdown of the claimed fatalities to show how many had comorbidities (much less break it down into how many each might have had), no cross-reference to age and so on.
I think a person needs to be in denial to think this is anything more than a manipulation of the people to get them to give up their freedoms and accept a bigger yoke of govt, all in the name of staying "safe" while big pharma and their govt lackeys make millions and billions. Remember their first BS line about wear your face diaper for just 2 weeks and we'll flatten the curve. To bad people don't understand statistics... you'll flatten the curve but the area stays the same, ie same number get it or die from it but instead of it happening in say 3 weeks they spread it over 5 or 6 months. If people would take off the rose colored glasses and apply some critical thinking and question everything, no matter the source or political bent, and look at how the data and numbers have been and continue to be skewed it blows my mind that they could swallow the hook. Where is the raw, unmolested data? How have govt and bureaucrats been allowed to fail and not provide full medical work ups on the deceased to get a full and honest picture. They've failed to do their jobs to provide complete data collection on the dead, the recovered, the imune. they've only pushed the PCR testing as it bolsters their desires while failing to push testing for antibody testing that would show true numbers of how many have had it and recovered naturaly which would show the the true breadth of the infection and recoveries.

Vietnam III Corps 1967 to 1969.
Some nations, for the lack of a better word, banned the Moderna shot which is effective against Delta.
Have you done the math, I have.
US population = 333,516,610
Total Deaths = 748,241
Total recovered = 35,657,286
The math:
Total deaths:
748,241/333,516,610 =.002243 * 100 = .22434%
Next is total recovered:
35,657,286/333,516,610= 0.106913 * 100 = 10.691%
Due to births, deaths and recovered, the numbers change slightly daily
For those who don't trust mine, do their own:
Daily and weekly updated statistics tracking the number of COVID-19 cases, recovered, and deaths. Historical data with cumulative charts, graphs, and updates.
Here is the kick in the butt.
"The case definition is very simplistic,” Dr. Ngozi Ezike, director of Illinois Department of Public Health, explains. “It means, at the time of death, it was a COVID positive diagnosis. That means, that if you were in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live, and then you also were found to have COVID, that would be counted as a COVID death. It means, technically even if you died of clear alternative cause, but you had COVID at the same time, it’s still listed as a COVID death.”
For those who don't trust townhall.com?
Here is the same at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljpHugKNcoI
The short form is no matter what a person died of; if they tested positive for COVID, the cause of death was COVID. That means my numbers are bull malarkey. That could also mean the total death numbers are inflated. But, why and for what reason would the numbers be inflated?
As you mentioned it, in so many ways millions have sworn a variation of that solemn oath: "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
When our time of service was completed, not one of those millions were never released from their oath. Unless, the order was illegal.

I'm a disabled Veteran and my VA benefits are contingent on being vaccinated.. The retail price for my hearing aids is close to $6K or for me, to give a little pays for a lot more.
I had it, had it in April of last year, as of May this year the antibodies are still running strong in me and in the tens of millions (hundreds?) of others that have also had it. Don't believe the BS that it's only good for 90 days. Also research from all around the globe (which I tend to trust much more than a govt agenda sponsored by big pharma) is showing natural antibodies trump the shots by far. Look up the huge studies done in Israel, Argentina and several other countries not afraid to publish the results. But what don't you hear the MSM blabbering on about? Notice how all their propaganda and drum beating doesn't talk about the recovered. Nope just everyone get your jab. remember how 95-97% of those who get it are asymptomatic and don't know they have it. Why aren't they encouraging people to get the antibody test?
I tried to get my 15yo an antibody test about a month ago to keep her from having to quarantine at home for 10 days and miss. She's neurotic at times about being there, she's 3 way tied for valedictorian of her class. I asked the school nurse, as she didn't volunteer it, what if she has a positive antibody test? Well then she could go back immediately and would be clear for 90 days even if turned out she'd been around a positive person. Otherwise soonest, even doing home test, was on day 8 from exposure (on a Tuesday, return next Monday with negative PCR test taken after Sunday. Otherwise the following Monday if don't test and don't have any symptoms. And guess what her pediatrician (now ex-pediatrician) flat refused to call it in? They wouldn't issue a lab order for her to have the blood draw done. I spoke to the hospital lab who told me results would be same or next day depending on when we got there, but nope, no test. Her ped (an old air force Dr) would only say wait 5 days and get PCR absolutely will not sign for blood test. I told him thanks but to go F off.
I work with several of these pharma companies in other segments of their medical products and I also worked on one of the big guys home test kit business from last Dec until May of this year; if you saw how messed up these places are, you'd know why normally it takes these vaccines more like 10 to 15 years to hit the market. Also, this Pfizer crap still isn't approved. It is classed as being in medical trial until late sometime in '22. Had this been any other drug or vaccine and had the number of cases of adverse reaction and deaths as this it would have been shut down long before the tens of thousands of deaths that have occurred from it. Oh yes, 10's of thousands and what about the 1000's of young men now suffering with myocarditis but now lets force it on kids from 5 to 18. And then they think they're going to shoot that shit into my 8 & 9 yo old sons. There is a govt website (I forget it right now) where any and all drug reactions can be reported, from say a mild rash to death. I forget if it's the CDC or FDA that operates it but as of a few weeks ago you could go on and see the info on the reactions and it wasn't pretty. As I recall it showed around 75K having had fatal reactions to the jab, even more with anaphylaxis shock, myocarditis, and so on. Now where do you think those deaths have been reported cause it sure hasn't been in the news. Do you think they roll those into the death from vaccine column or the death from covid column?
Remember back in '90 when our benevolent govt forced untested drugs on our military that was getting ready to roll over Kuwait and Iraq. Remember how that turned out? A little thing called Gulf War Disease? Don't hear them talk about the 1000's of Vet's that jacked up. In fact in the last 30 years how often is it even mentioned?Last edited by CountryGuy; 10-18-2021, 11:12 PM.
