It's about time brother! :D....WELCOME!
Folks...Morguns1cam and I are great friends, he's top notch in my book! We're both diving into the Ham thing currently.
He didn't mention it, but he's also one heck of a finger-picker on the guitar.
We're currently planning a massive kayak assault on the Lumber River, 14 paddlers so far.
Good to see another pilot here from South Carolina. We seem to share many of the same interests. Hey SNAL, when is the Lumber river trip and is everyone invited? I'd be interested .

Morguns and I are part of a motorcycle race team. The team kinda got into kayaking a few years ago, just as another excuse to get together. We seem to be acquiring more and more paddlers every year. It's a bit late for this trip, but we need to get together, and get to know you (and you...us) because we alternate "hosting". We meet on a thursday night, before the trip, and the host puts everybody up for the night...then we try to get in the water no later than noon on friday...out by noon on sunday. The group is very diverse, and spread out from Ontario, to Tennessee, to Orlando, and everywhere in between.
Trips are typically 20-30 miles long, and are generally on slow moving rivers, bays, the ICW, ect. Kayaks range from 13.5' to 16', are generally recreational/tourers, sit-in, or sit-on-top. Ages in the group range from late 20's to early 70's. We pack beer and liquor first, then food tents, sleeping bags ect...if there's any room left :D We fish, swim, camp, pick on each other, and never fail to have a great time!
