I'm 34 years old, had been working in land surveying/civil engineering industry for the last 14 years until getting laid-off in November. Currently searching for a new job but there's not much out there right now. I joined the site because I like the thought of being able to take care of myself if the shit ever hits the fan, and I recognize that currently I am not ready to. I hope that this site will help me get better prepared.
