i'm not alone
it's good to know there are other like mided folks in the world.it's also assuring knowing i have so many in my area. i've been reding a few threads on this site during the last few days and have been seeing some great posts.i'm in l.a.(lenoir area)nc and have some great input i'd love to share with folks who''see it coming'' just as i do. my computer knowledge is minimal at best.although it's a good way to communicate i can't see myself depending on it in any way but see it as one more good reason the world is going to hell in a hand basket. i would really enjoy to hear from some like minded people.occasionally i ""bug out"" just to see what happens guess whati' still here so i must be doing something right. i read a post about a controll burn in western n.c. and would like to let everyone know i had ""stash'' get burned in a forrest fire a year or so back. it was in the linville gorge area. this is a great place to ''bug out'' by the way.i've seen noone there on several occasions for the duration of many trips lasting 2-14 days. i also have a lot more places on federal land in which i have extensive knowledge of the terrain. just some of my many thoughts.looking forward to hearing from others.Comment

I remember seeing those fires in the Gorge the other year or so ago... Bummer on the cache :(
BTW there is a good knife store in between Morganton and Drexel on US 70, if you don't already know about it...73
