Brian, first WELCOME!!!! :)
Second...
Shoot to be as self-sufficient as you can for a year. Think about hunting?
Third! One of my bug out vehicles is a Jeep like yours. YES, it is tiny back there! Ha ha! I took out my rear seat and added a cargo platform that hooks to the rear of the vehicle. I can put it on or take it off quickly.
Lets make a Jeep post and talk more! :)

Welcome to the site. As you check things out, look at the upper right there is a search feature. Put in key words, and it will list threads that have those words in either the title or body.

New From Calgary
Hello all, I'm Brian, living in Calgary, love camping and just getting more adventurous...want to go away from park sites, Also new to off-roading, with a 2012 JK. So my thoughts lead me to plan, as I'm tech not tool orientated...I'm hoping to learn from your experiences and want to ensure that I and those who travel with me are safe as both hobbies can get you remote and away from basic services, and mountain weather is fickle at best. I'm looking for the gear for both camping as well as survival and first aid kits...where I go I'm typically in my Jeep so limited cargo, but better then back pack. looking forward to learning from you all...cheersTags: None
