You have it wrong. You do not need to learn about survival because you live it day to day.
I have been 2 times to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Once with a 2 month Horse/Mule packed trip for a Joint Canadian/USA Wild life study, and the other was to go on a packaged deal hunt.
The Pack trip; I was studying Micro-Biology and Bird Flu. We wanted to take a good sample of geese/ducks for testing of their blood to see if there was a presence of the virus in their bodies. There was. This was in 2006-2007.
The second was the best because I took my only son of his first hunting trip. The base camp was in the NW Terr. and we stayed for 2 weeks hunting various game. It was great.Comment
