Ceramic Ocarina. Nuff said.
I like the Ceramic Ocarina. Takes a little practice, but they are darn near unbreakable, if made right. And they fit easily in a small pocket. 4 holes, full range of music.

High peaks are high notes, low peaks-lower, valleys even lower notes...short, long...just play the ridgeline. It's amazing how beatifull this can sound. Play the flight of a bird in the wind!
I have several NAF music CD's (no...not my recordings)...very relaxing.

How about one of those kids flutes. Used to call them recorders. Cheap, plastic and would be good for torturing your dog.
Found them on E-bay (I refuse to buy on this anti-gun site) for $5.00.

Just hope I can carry it out if I have to sh*t 'n' git....

Musical Instruments
Having to bug out, or bug-in, the necessity of entertainment for morale is just as important as Tylonol for an injury. While a harmonica is a useful addition to any BOB or preparedness kit, I'm curious to know if anyone has other useful ideas for musical entertainment.
I currently play guitar, but realize that in a SHTF situation, guitar strings will become almost completely unavailable. (that and finding an electrical outlet to plug in my Crate amp might be difficult :p) Does anyone have a musical instrument that is able to be used indefinately, without the necessity of replacing parts?Tags: None
