Here is mine:
It all started back in the late 80's early 90's when I was in the military. We had code words or callsigns for the field. Part of mine was Zulu Alpha, or to make ourselves sound ferocious we tweaked them and mine became Zombie Axe...
On a side note for those who used commo in the . mil days, Lima Charlie (for how do you read me, Loud and Clear or Lima Charlie) became Lickin' Chicken:D73
later,
ZA
Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to
beat you to death with it because it is empty.
The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

LOL.....good idea... ;)
I got my nickname in S. America....
I was the squad gunner, and was issued and trained in the use of the Squad Assault Weapon....S.A.W. The "big" got added to it when I chose my loadouts....I packed twice the standard loadout, 'cause I believe in extra ammo....my extra pack made me look like Quasimodo in camo, so it earned me the callsign "Big Saw."
After our last op, I didn't want to stay in the business full-time, so I reserved out and started a remodeling firm and call it Big Saw Construction......some things just stay with you.
How 'bout you, 'Axe?Last edited by Big_Saw; 12-23-2008, 05:52 AM."I Have Sworn Upon the Altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." -Thomas Jefferson

Boy are you gonna be sorry you asked!
I bought my first Harley back in 1999...a Sportster...and immediately joined an online worldwide owners group. After a few months there were enough members in the southeast to plan a little get together...on a 3 day weekend. We kinda already knew each other online, but that was the first time that most of us had met face to face.
We had a helluva good time that weekend...and the nicknames started being handed out.
They named me SNAL for "Skinny-No-Ass-Larry"...and yes...it fits!
A year later i decided to race a Sportster in a Land Speed Racing venue here in NC...some of the folks from the Sportster group wanted to help out, and one of them popped up and said that we needed to a team name..."SNART Racing" (Skinny-No-Ass-Race-Team).

Visinedrops has been with me for about 9 years. While sitting in front of the computer trying to come up with an e-mail addy, I couldn't think of anything that sounded cool, or was available, until I looked up into one of the cubby's of the computer desk and lo and behold, a bottle of Visine eye drops. I am now the proud owner of that trademarked name on 2 different e-mail services, and plenty of other sites...including this one. hehe."Reject the basic assumptions of civilization, especially the importance of material possessions."
