Think
Bring people together (peace-maker)
Garden
Fish
Cook
Shoot stuff
Provide basic medical care
and last but not least....

Yes, that's right. I'm a terrific follower. I can and will lead reasonably well if that's what's needed. But if everyone wants to lead, no one will get anywhere.

Dignitary Protection team leader
Avid Outdoorsman (more so hunting then fishing)
Gun smithing to a certain degree

Kind of a jack of all trades, but specialize in those areaa mainly.

Someone will have to be the decision maker to over rule the ridiculous ideas that the other 5 people come up with from being scared or stressed. You can have 5 of the most qualified people in the world, but if they all crack, what good are they?

I think we can all agree that if someone has taken the time to prepare a well though-out response to disaster, and has the intelligence and common-sense to apply their knowledge in a group setting, it's a good start. I'd bet the chances are very good that, out of a team of 5 trained and prepared individuals, you'd come out with one or more qualified leaders, who'd be able to handle the fecal impeller.

I'm a firefighter/paramedic. I am also a training specialist and instruct everything from first aid/cpr, to hazmat and confined space rescue.

I'm fair with firearms, but am looking to purchase and become proficient with a dedcent assault weapon ie, AR-15???

I'm also finding how far behind I am in preparedness. I have seen your examples and am trying to build some bags.

Given this scenerio, I'd probably fit more into #4. The ability to convert a mass of items which no longer function individually and combine the workings of such items to form one large concoction is fun and relatively simple for me.
