VERY INTERESTING ARTICLE...it makes you think for sure. I firmly believe you need to hide many things not only from the people who will be stealing, but also from the government...pretty much one in the same in my opinion in many cases.

A very insightful article. We have been talking more and more about this. Now the governments are talking about "food justice", which is sharing the wealth of food with others. Unfortunetely, it's not the others that YOU choose, it's who THEY choose, and yes, that means robbing from YOU. I suggest making plans and having a way to move your storage. Things like this don't happen over night and chances are, yours won't be the first door they come knocking on. Something like that takes a LOT of man power and planning. Make a plan as to what you would do if they implimented a search, where would you put your stored foods to make them safe? It may not happen, but it's worth thinking about.

SkyOwl and I have been discussing this for quite a while. The Nazi's did it, and since this administration is most like them, we assume they'll do something similar.

Thanks for posting. It's a good article and unfortunately I can see some form of the Gobbermint seizing and reappropriating stockpiles of food and preps if they can find it. In my opinion this reinforces the old story of "never put all your eggs in one basket." Split it up and hide it as best as possible.

Good article. I think I will start stamping any boxes I have containing food with big 4" letters saying ANTHRAX. Maybe they will keep away from those.... If they ask questions I'll just say,"We all need a hobby."

I think labeling everything with "Highly Explosive" would be just as useful. At that point, they would quit worrying about our food storage.

I agree with everything you said except the time-frame with which they could swoop in to "relieve" us of our food stores. Unfortunately, I've done some purchasing through my local big box stores. You gotta be a member to patronize them. If you're a member, cash or credit, you gotta swipe your card to buy. With that in mind, the gov could surgically select the homes to visit for their confiscation parties. And this is where we differ in opinion. I believe it COULD happen overnight. They won't go door-to-door. They'll know who they're visiting before they knock.

Scary stuff. Gonna make some changes in how I proceed with my pantry build.
                              Thanks,
