I hope the rest of your recovery is uneventful be careful not to over do it and keep your powder dry

Best of luck for a quick and complete recovery. I've been down that road myself and can really empathize.

I greatly appreciate all the kind words everyone and I will be fine.
ALWAYS REMEMBER...there is no such thing as a routine surgery no matter how many times they do it or tell you it will be fine.
Stay Safe everyone!!

Your philosophy is correct, I wish you hadn't had this bad experience to make you realize it.
Prayers for you, get well.

Without your health you have nothing.
I went in for an outpatient surgery on Tuesday and everything went bad. The sugery was at 6am and I was released at aprox. 4pm only to return to the emergency room 6 hours later because of an infection which set in.
We just got home a few hous ago and I'm on bed rest for 3 days, and can't lift 10lbs for 3 weeks!!!
When I was in the hospital it really made me think about what would happen if the SHTF when a person was in the hospital, had an ongoing meical condition which required medication etc...
Health should be our #1 concern because even a simple cut could kill you in a survival situation without the help of antibiotics.
In short, be safe and keep on top of your health and physical conditioning!Tags: None
