I'm finally doing what I've been thinking of doing for over a year now.
Since I plan to shelter in place, I'm going to be stuck with whatever neighbors are sticking around. Since I can't be sure that any of my neighbors are prepared for anykind of emergency, I've turned to FEMA for help:rolleyes: (Never thought I'd say that:mad:)
I have pulled pertinent information from the ready.gov and USDA websites and put together an information pack that I plan to place on (not in) all of my neighbors mailboxes. I will do this under the cover of darkness, and put one on my own mailbox as well, to keep my anonymity. I feel this might accomplish two things... 1. get people thinking at the local level.... 2. open up a path for communications with the neighbors. ("Hey Joe... Did you get some FEMA packet on your mailbox the other day? what's your take on that?")
Thoughts?
Here's a pic of two of the six pages in my packet
