My little time here so far has been an enjoyable experience. People from what I see so far seem well balanced on topics and are polite.

I just deleted my profile on a different forum because for the most part people were rude and seemed a little off the wall. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing on things. We will never agree on everything, but we should be able to agree that disagreeing is not a bad thing. If anything it can be a learning experience. The IMPORTANT thing is that we remain polite in these situations.

I also want to stress something to the people who run this site. Membership is obviously important, but from my experience on other forums and in life is that quality is better then quantity. Just my thoughts.

Couldn't agree more. Seems if you disagreed on other sites with something they would gang up on you and want blood!

on the few other sites im a member on, flaming is the norm. Love when some one posts a dissenting opinion and the cyber screams of troll start. or mall ninja or one of a dozen other names they seem to keep on file for immediate use.

thats what makes this forum fun for me. even if I dont post alot. LOL

I'm here to learn about things and about people .... I used to know things but they've been long forgotten. I'm a sensitive kinda guy and it hurts my feeling when I get flamed .... don't be mean, jus splain it to me like I'm a six year old and I'll be o.k.

I'm enjoying this forum, hope posting picks up a bit, but the people are real nice, easy going and full of common sense. Quality IS better than quantity! I like a spirited debate, but some forums people just jump all over you for anything...that's not why I'm on forums. I too, have deleted myself from a few forums and may just do a few more.

I think the different views and opinions make the learning process better rounded, especially when handled in a civil manner. This forum provides a learning experience with out people getting flamed or being talked down to and made to feel dumb.

I wonder if he ever got the bugs worked out of his Surface to air missile launchers? I think he had tracked the problem down to interference coming off of the cooling tower on the second reactor.
