I have a small pack like that for my four year old for his water bottles and he keeps a couple toys in it but, my 1 year old still doesn't quite grasp the concept of wearing a pack yet. I am working on it though. Thanks.

I think the whole idea about the "dog tag" is a wise idea!

It is a great idea, however, my two little ones would eat them, or strangle themselves or each other... how could I do it without pinning, (danger in itself) or around their necks?

To be honest I would worry about that too. There must be some way you could attach them without having that worry. Through the shoe laces maybe or some type of 550 cord bracelet?

Maybe a bracelet, but I tell you, Id almost have to stitch it on their clothes. They put everything in their mouth. the 3 yr old just tested high for lead. We had the house checked, and really nothing in her "area" that would cause it. I could always tattoo it on her.. Im KIDDING! Shes a good girl, I know she'll out grow it. Just cant do necklaces or anything like that, right now.

The front has a little velcro chest strap, and the back, a sewn on handle Im guessing incase you need to grab the little one in a hurry. I have a pic of her wearing the pack, .. I think in the camping forum. Shes 3 and only 23 lbs, and it fits her great! I purchased for about $22.00. They make it in pink and purple too.
