We live right on the river. It seems like we have had rain non stop for a month. Fortunately, we have not gotten washed away, or even flooded, besides the yard! We are so ready to get out and camp... hoping for dry weather.. Monday???

Looks like we are gonna need it soon here in Middle Tennessee.
Asked my daughter in Arkansas if she had heard any "voices" talking about boats. She said, "No, but we are all sleeping in life vests!"

She is pretty well clear of the flood area (except for her whole garden washing away), but we are all praying for those who aren't.

That sounds like a good idea. We have chickens and I never thought of using them for weeding. Thanks!!

At least it's not snow. That 22" we had a few months ago was fun except for the shoveling. Time to fuel up the DUCKs.

I have plans for a fairly large houseboat. LOL.

at least its not that bad around here. last year Went camping along the gorge. about midnight a storm rolls in. the tent was snapping around like sails in the wind. and the wind was so strong it was blowing water thru the tent. me and the dog sat on my back pack under a poncho in two inches of water for the rest of the night waiting for that storm to pass. LOL. river rose so high its a good thing I had my canoe tied off or it would have gone down river with out me.

Lesson, when you see woodland critters running thru you camp carrying luggage and survival gear follow them. lol
