They are dedicated and devoted to providing the best Survival & Preparedness Gear available. They have been around for decades and really excel in the Long Term Food Storage Category.
Well, I wasn't really looking for this, but I saw it while out riding my FXR. I couldn't not buy it. 1969 Jeepster Commando 4X4 recently restored. $4000.00
Snow Walker,
You got a good deal. Best I've seen them go for is two for $15. And yes, I tested one out the last time I took my oldest on a little proving hike with his new gun and gear. With literally a handful of twigs and leaves, you can get a cup full of water to a rolling boil. Very simple to use.
- All aluminum construction (feather light)
- Cheap and compact (stocking a bunch is easy / is a good mobile cooking tool / makes for good charity items if the SHTF)
- Need potable water... filter through a coffee filter, then boil in this little honey... a mobile life saver (for passing refugees)
- Want to eat some of your freeze dried or dehydrated storage foods on the run... here's your water boiler to make it happen
- Need to heat that MRE in some warm water... here you go.
- Want to mix up some hot chocolate or instant coffee on your next hike... this will certainly fit the bill.
- Need to sterilize that cloth dressing or do a bit of washing... on a small scale, this will work.
- Need to cook up a can of ordinary soup... yup, it'll do that to.
Way easy to use.
- Unpack (2nd photo)
- fill cup (item on right/2nd photo) with water
- place full cup into the top of the stove
- poke some leaves and twigs into the rectangular opening at the bottom of the stove
- ignite
- slowly stoke fire as required
- In no time, you have boiling water.
Hope that helps.
RA
Thank You very much for the information, it is greatly appreciated and did help!
I was out of town earlier today and on the way back I had to stop at a few garage sales.
This is all I found and for $4 I wasn't passing it up. It's a Swiss cook set made out of aluminum and in great shape. I needed this like I needed a hole in the head, but thought is was really interesting.
Does anyone have any knowledge about these, ever used them etc...????

My finds this weekend, a box of various candles for $1 a nice caliper for $15, 4 books 3 about lumber and various ways of processing and drying wood and a book on the practices indians used to survive in the wilderness all the books were $1 each and a nice little chisel that was 50 cents but I got it for free with the books, nice little haul everything I got will be useful.

I just love those neighborhoods. Lastyear, I bought a complete Natuzzi leather living room suite for $100.00. Sofa loveseat, two chairs! Easily $5000.00 worth of leather. The husband bought it as a suprise, the wife didn't like it.
