I got an older sears rear tine 8 hp 18" roto tiller that starts on the first pull. We are putting more of or land under the plow this year for bigger gardens. Oh ya and 3 case of unopened canning jars.

A lot of the time they don't bother putting it out because so few folks are into that.
I asked at a sale one time....and the guy just started bringing box after box out....I ended up with about 240 jars...and 300 rings...in good heavy boxes too....for $0.10 per jar.
And....not only could you get some supplies....but you can twist their ear for some techniques and recepies....:)Live like you'll die tomorrow, learn like you'll live forever.

I purchased my tiller from a guy who's wife wanted a big garden until she found out how much work it is. So from that point forward it has been stored in their heated garage except when it went out once a year for service and tune up. He gave me all of the service paper work and told me he did not want to keep spending $65.00 a year to just have it sit around. It still had paint on the tines.
