  • Weather changes.

You will notice I did not use Global warming or Climate change.
I do not buy into Man made weather changes destroying the planet so Emo Liberals can get rich.

But this spring has been very different in my area. Our average temperature has been 15 degrees below the norm. We have gotten more rain this spring than we usually get in an entire "wet" year. With everything that is going on in the gulf with our Government, the economy and around the world this "change in the weather" deserves some concern. If it continues the local crops will rot in the ground.

What is going on in your area with the weather. Is yours as normal as can be expected. I can't help but think about the little ice age.

We're experiencing above average temps here in the Ohio Valley, with temps in the 90's for the past 12-15 days and forecaster are saying there is no relief in the near future temps this weekend are expected to reach 97-99 with heat index of 105 and above. This is the second hottest June on record with the hottest being June 1944. Average temps here are usually in the low 80's for highs in June. If ya see any of those glaciers from that little ice age direct them Eastward please!

Last year, here in the corner of AZ, our summer temp never broke 101 degrees. This year, we already hit 102 once. In other words - normal.

Just finished baling hay and thought I was gonna die. Wonder what July and August is going to be like when we're hitting 90's in June.

About average weather here in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
Hot, humid with afternoon thunderstorms generally, splash and dash.

Now there's a job that I don't miss, I used to make money as a kid working in hay every summer, but it was all square bales back then . Hopefully you have the round baler. Looks like that hay got a little wet this morning, the storms woke me up earlier, a real downpour here.

No, spuare bales. My 80 year old dad and I bale about 1000+ bales a year. I'm getting too old for this stuff but he would try to do it by himself if I didn't help so I do what I have to but I don't have to enjoy it. LOL
