The river was rising. The authorities sent a call for evacuation. One man replyed, " God will protect me." The water came rushing in and the Man had to run to the 2nd floor of his house. A boat came by and the rescue team said, " Come with us and we will take you to safety." The man replyed, " God will protect me." The water continued to rise and the Man had to flee to the roof. A helicopter came and the rescue team said, " Come with us and we will take you to safety." The Man replyed, " God will protect me." The water continued to rise and the Man was washed off the roof and met his end. He awoke to find himself kneeling before God. The Man said, " God I have always been faithful and kept your word close to my heart. Tell me why did you let me perish and not rescue me." God replyed, " I did try to rescue you my son, I sent a call for evacuation, a boat and a helicopter."
