Yes the house passed the bill, now the senate will iron out a similar verson and it will be signed early in 2010 after the break. Wow what interesting times we are living in. What's amazing to observe is how government can function with out a checks and balance in place. With one party in control of both houses just about any piece of legislation can pass. What remains to be seen is were the high court will weigh in. In my opinion the Health Care bill will be challenged and ruled upon by the Supreme Court. This fight is not over yet, not be along shot.

Watching Fox News friday night, they cited page 3 thousand and whatever paragragh whatever, buried deep within, that actually covers abortions... without crossing the "lines" here, it pisses me off that a subject that has been so heavily debated over the years gets a rubber stamp based on the complexity of a larger project... the "devils in the details"...

I was trying to read through the bill to find where it is mandatory to have government coverage. Now as far as I have gotten it is voluntary to use the public health coverage but I just got to the part where Americans not having "acceptable health care" incur an extra tax. I'm still reading along so I can't give my unbiased/as unbiased as I can be report quite yet but I'm not happy as I'm sure every intelligent person is out there. Especially employers who are now going to be required to provide "acceptable health care" to employee's if they have a annual payroll of $500,000+

            MY Option

We had our annual open enrollment for healthcare again at work... The rates are going up of course, and the coverage is still terrible. We're going to stay on the dental and eye, and opt out on the healthcare. Let the games begin!
