I don't know what is going on, but if anyone knows that we can help in any way I volunteer. Bayou has helped me a lot with useful information and I'd be happy to help out if there is something I can do.

                  Thank you all

I’m sorry I have not responded earlier.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has posted in this thread for their kind thoughts and prayers. I just returned yesterday from New York where we laid my Mother to rest after suffering from a multitude of severe health problems for so long. In all her years of illness, she never once lost/questioned her faith in our Lord and Savior. She was tested many times yet never faltered. She was a remarkable woman in that she raised 5 children overcoming many adversities. She was a true survivalist in every sense of the word. All 5 of us have succeeded in life through her love, guidance, faith and prayers.

My only regret is that due to my past military career, I lost so much time with her. I also did not get a chance to say good by to her in person as her final passing came quickly and mercifully. My faith was again reaffirmed the evening that she passed away. I was to fly out that next morning hoping that I could get there in time before she passed. That evening I said a prayer asking our Lord that if it was his will to take her from us, not to prolong her suffering and welcome her in the arms of his divine embrace. No sooner had I finished this prayer that the phone rang. My brother told me she had just passed. He told me she was waiting for my prayer before she left us as they had recently finished a similar prayer.

They say when it rains it pours. I’m also now being tested and my faith will NOT falter either as I struggle with some recently diagnosed (some severe) medical afflictions of my own. I was trying to get some under some control before visiting my mother as not to worry her. I do endeavor to adapt, overcome and persevere all while keeping my faith.

Thanks again to all respondents, may God Bless each of you and grant you all the very best of Health, Happiness, Prosperity and Tranquility.

Try not to beat yourself up my friend. Your are where God wants you I trust. I lost my dad 2 years ago next week (22 years Marine) and my oldest sister 11 months later. Yes have faith, that your loved ones are with our Christ and we will follow them. Sometimes, things are not the way that we wan't them and we loose some time.. That's just how it happens.
Funny thing is? My dad told me as I am former Marine as well. "God likes us shot up and walking wounded, then we have a story and witness to share". There is no peace that I can give you these days BB. But our prayers are with you.

                      BB,

In the past 14 months, I have lost my mother, then my father. You are not alone.

                      Prayer sent.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
