dont destroy a thread or posting to voice your opinion. so if you would like to be flat out rude or make remarks that are not related to the thread this is the place for you. there are too many people running around this site posting replies that have no relation to the subject at hand. there is no need to be rude on this site we are all trying to help each other in one way or another. so if you dont like KCF chicken dont sit there and scrutinize a free coupon say thank you or keep your mouth shut. i dont want to hear that there was to big of a crowd when you went in and you dident get to pick your sides. boo hooo. it was a free meal. give the coupon to someone who needs it or deserves it if you dont like it. im sure there are plenty of homeless in your area that would be more than grateful to have a free meal.

I'm not upset with one post. it is a compilation of post over the entire time i have been a member of this site. I get sick of reading through garbage post to get the to the real topic. some threads i have noticed after the first reply goes in a totally different direction that has nothing to do with what was originally asked. I understand people like to chit chat but i am more interested in the info. I'm not trying to start any kind of feuds or bad blood. maybe i have just spent to much time at this site. sometimes i forget there are like 100 other survivalist sites out there and i end up spending to much time in one place.

Denver, it is obvious the problem is you. You're the one with the issues. If this site is not what YOU want, leave. It will be your loss. There is much to learn from Xcolony, from many good folks. If you cant handle a little off topic rant from time to time, go. Nobody will keep you here. So, my advice, pull your head out of your a$$ and shut up, or get lost.

Then WE can't learn from YOU. And we are here to learn from each other.

I can't believe how much I learn from what seems to be off-hand remarks around here. They've taken me off in a couple of unthoughtof directions that can't be anything BUT valuable.

Or someone asks a question that some think is stupid, but just like a calculus class, if you have a question, someone else has the same question! So we can learn, even if they sting us a bit upon occasion. Always remember, no one is born knowing this stuff, and the old-timers may forget that sometimes, although this site has been the most helpful I've ever seen in that regard, good people here.

You can skip the parts that have no bearing on the topic at hand, or the ones that don't interest you. I skip most of the posts about weapons, it's not my area of expertise and I've got a bunch of other catching up to do THEN I'll read those.

Everyone needs to take a time out. Take a deep breath and relax a bit.

Here is the way I approach any forum I participate in. I read what interests me. If there is "stuff" in a particular thread that does not pertain to the original topic, I simply skip over that material. You can find this in every forum "if" you go looking for it. My solution is to not look for it. It exists, I skip over it when I find it, all is well. There are tons of good stuff but you have to "mine" the forum to get to it sometimes. That means you have to filter the wheat from the chaff.

I can see how you got offended and I can see how folks reacted. If we each did not go looking for offensive things, and take what one receives as commentary/correction to a post, remember, it comes from that posters point of view. I am not in their shoes so I may not see it the same way but I do not take offense.

Chock it up to that old addage...

Don't do that, honey, everybody has an off day every once in a while. :) Unfortunately here in virtual land, we cannot hear the tone of voice being used or see the eyebrows being raised, etc., etc. Just take it with a grain of salt and go forward from there.
